Letting Go
Wednesday, 1 July 2015 | 10:04 | 3 comments
Letting go... something easier said than done... It's all about mentality, how important something is to an individual. What may seem easy to one could be harder for another. We don't all cope the same way. Letting go is extremely difficult, but it doesn't have to be hard either.

You know, something I've noticed is that the people around you will have different approaches towards your problem or whatever it is you're trying to let go. I've had friends who have given me good advice, telling me to wait it out and just see what happens. Contrary to this I've also have had people who have told me to just 'fucking give up' cause the situation is just that 'simple.' Which you know in hindsight it probably was, but it was something important to me so I can't just easily let the situation go. It's good to be blunt and state the obvious, but you need to realize that when someone comes to you with something so important you need to slowly ease into it. Gotta help the healing process you feel?

Now, letting go isn't a bad thing either. Being able to let go of a heavy burden is one of the best feelings. It makes you realize what made out to be so big seem so small. You realize how much you were overthinking, how much you were being tormented by such an insignificant problem. It might not be easy getting over something and letting go, but when it does happen it feels like this heavy weight you're baring has been lifted off your shoulders. The sensation is kind of hard to explain, but I'm sure we've all been there before.

Like I said, letting go doesn't have to be hard. It makes it easier when you look at both the positives and the negatives outcomes. With everything good that comes, there will always be the bad stuffs. Some things will seem easier to let go than others. I guess it just comes down to what was involved and how important that person or thing was. It's like telling someone to get over a relationship, it doesn't happen over night. It's easy to just say 'get over it,' but until you've been in the person's situation you cant possibly understand how much they're struggling.

You know it's really ironic for me to be writing on such a topic right now. There are things that are still troubling me that no matter how hard I try, I just cant let go. Some of you might know what I'm talking about. Honestly though it's all gee, I've learnt how to cope with it for now I guess. Live for the present, not on the past, not for the future. That's how I get through the day.

Time heals all wounds.

Peace~

Commitment
Wednesday, 11 March 2015 | 03:59 | 0 comments
*FYI I started this post like the second week I was in Vietnam... Really goes to show my commitment lmao.*

Now I'm pretty bad when it comes to commitment and what not when it comes to certain tasks . I mean my blog itself should give you a clear indication of how committed I am to writing these entries. If you're a 'regular' reader of my blog you know that I update once every like month or something? But that's like only if you're lucky lmao.

You know it's okay to give up on your commitments. Sometimes when you're not feelin' it you're just not feelin' it you feel?. You can't continue something that you have lost interest in. It's like telling a kid to clean the toilet and that he's NOT going to receive anything in return. There's no motivation. If he's not going to get anything out of it in the end then why is he going to bother? Unless he's feelin' keen as to do homework then idek. It's perfectly normal to give up on your commitments and there's nothing wrong with doing so. It just shows that you're a lazy mother fucker hehe.

With that said there are certain things you should always stay committed to. For example relationships, family, friends, work, assignments and all that junk. You can't just give up so easily. A lot of these things are very important in life either in the present or sometime later on in the future. Looking back I was pretty lazy myself. I gave up a lot of educational thingies which have caught up and bit my bum bum pretty hard. But you know what I'm not going to dwell on the bad things that happened in the past cause #noregrets. Let's save that topic for another day though.

Now personally, I'm pretty on and off when it comes to commitments. I mean it's pretty ironic that I write about this topic considering that by the time you get to read this I would have spent probably a month and a bit writing it up. Yea I'm a lazy fucker and I'm not going to lie, but at least I'm writing amirite? Um #dealwithit hehe. In all seriousness though commitments are hard, and they're not going to become easy anytime soon. But if you stick through it all, there's always going to be a good outcome in the end.

So I guess a short summary would be it's okay to give up on certain  commitments as long as they aren't family related, relationship related, friend related, work related and all that junk. And yes I know this post probably wasn't as formal (when have my posts ever been formal lmfao) or deep or whatever but you know I just wasn't feelin' it you feel? Anyways the usual,

To the future!
Tuesday, 20 January 2015 | 18:40 | 0 comments
How gangster would it have been if time travel had already been invented? Like actually I wouldn't mind knowing where I would be in like say 10 years time or so. But since time travel hasn't been invented I've set myself some little goals you feel? It's always good to think about the future. I mean although I prefer to live in the present, I still think it's good to have plan or something to look forward to you feel? Something to aim for, something we can dream about or something we can work towards.

I mean, our future is something we must shape right? Now I know this is not the greatest example but it's probably because I'm playing with some right now (kid at heart), but the future is like play dough. We're holding onto a ball of play dough. Now when you leave it there, it's just a plain lump of play dough. So what do you do? You mold it and play with it obviously... You bend it, you stretch it, you flatten it you do all sorts of things. Now once you have the desired shape you start adding more play dough to your masterpiece. Except this time, the play dough you add is an assortment of colours. You have your reds, your blues, your greens and your yellows. I guess the colours represent our ups and days, our friends and our family. We may start of with only a small amount off play dough but the more we add onto it and shape it the greater the sculpture becomes. So I guess it's like it's not what you have in life, but what you do with life. That shapes the future and that shapes who you are.

You know now that I look back there should have been many things I should have planned for earlier prior to whatever the date was. Like seriously I think the worst feeling ever is coming to something, doing something or whenever something happens and then realizing that you were unprepared. Now for some people it may seem like the end of the world. Like life is over ya feel? But like, that's only one event. You learn from your tardiness and you make sure that you're prepared for the future. Think of it like this, lets say you love to read. When you finish one book what do you do? You pick up another one amirite? So when one story closes, another begins!

I asked one of my friends how he saw the future and he said to me "the future is like a flying arrow" which I can't help but to strongly agree. As life draws back the arrow, you aim it in the direction you want it to go and you release. Now the moment you release it obviously the arrow is going to be effected by wind resistance and drag and gravity and all that physics stuff. I guess that's just all the hardships you're going to have to go through. But eventually that arrow is going to land, and after going through all those hardships it's going to land into something great.

So I guess we should always look to the future as a new book aye? Something we should be looking forward too. It's something we should be excited for, but not let get in our way of living in the present ya feel? And make do with what you got you know? I feel like this may have been one of the shittier posts but you know, yolo right? Also I have recently just made a Facebook page for those who follow or want to follow my blog. It will be easier for me to notify you when I update ya feel? A link will be provided below. Anyways that's enough from me. As always:

Connections and Bonds
Friday, 16 January 2015 | 23:33 | 0 comments
Connections and bonds. I'm not talking about the adhesive, but about the bonds we have with other people. You may not know it but our actions play a very important role when it comes to our bonds. Even the slightest mistake could sever our bonds, but that doesn't mean they can't be restored and fixed. It's kinda like when you argue with your parents really... they get mad at you and may not talk to you for a while, but that doesn't mean it's going to stop them from loving you.

Now I wouldn't say my "bonds" with my parents are the greatest. But I wouldn't say they're crap either. Growing up I never really had much help from them. Mum was the stereotypical Asian mum and dad was always at work. Not only that but they couldn't understand much English either. Up until I started going to a tutor (which was like in grade 11) I basically had to learn almost everything by myself. I had help with life lessons of course since my parents are always lecturing me with their Asian wisdom. But academically I've always struggled. Coming from a family without an English background learning the language was the hardest thing. Although I may have been born and raised in 'Straya I couldn't say a single English word until I was around 3 or 4. It didn't help either that both my parents couldn't speak English either then. Even now my English is pretty crap.. I mean you can find so many grammatical errors throughout these posts rofl. You know I think that's why my bond with my parents aren't as strong in comparison to my sister's bond with the parentals. She's the second child and there's a decent age gap between us so she's always had a lot more help. However looking back they have always wanted the best for me. Even now they're lecturing me about Uni. As much as I'm grateful for loving parents I kinda wish we had a stronger connection you know? Even now every time I talk to my mum there's always a misunderstanding, which leads to a fight, which leads to us not talking and etc etc. Just a personal idea but I've always thought that it's hard to sever the bonds between you and your parents, but it's easy to become distant from one another.

As for the bonds with my friends, well, what am I really without my friends? I may have lost many and have grown distant from a few in the past few years, but I've also gained new ones that I have grown to love. They've always been there for me ya feel? and just like with my parentals we've had our ups and downs, but that's what makes our connections stronger. We go through the same hardships, we suffer together, we laugh together, we learn together and for a few, we've slept together (no homo Jos). For some I'd say my connection with them is on the same caliber as the connections I have with my parentals. I have a friend who I don't talk to much anymore, but we've known each other for almost 10 years. We both know that if we were to ever need anything we could just depend and ask each other. I have friends who I have only known for 3 years, but you know I feel as if our connections and bonds are stronger than some of my connections with people I've known for much longer. I guess it really depends on how open the people you know are, but it's hard to imagine where any of us would be if it weren't for our friends and family.

Now the worst thing that can happen is probably when we sever our connections. Usually due to some misunderstanding or whatever. And usually we can never fix them because the other person is too stubborn to see that they were wrong or see that you're admitting that you were in the wrong. You don't need those people I'm going to tell you now. Make new bonds and make them strong. With people you trust, with people you love and with people who are willing to create these bonds. Everyone has them, even the scummiest of criminals have them. It's what we choose to do and treat these bonds, that's what is important. I wouldn't be where I am today without my friends and family, and I'm extremely grateful for them being in my life.

I feel like I kinda just rambled in this post, like it doesn't but also does relate to the title ya feel? I kinda just felt like I had to post something since it's been so long rofl. Obligatory post is obligatory. Idek, I guess the moral is that we should keep our connections and bonds with our friends and family close. Repair them if necessary I guess. In short; bonds with people are good, cutting them is bad. That's enough rambling from me for one day. Like always,

Giving
Tuesday, 9 December 2014 | 18:21 | 0 comments
Seeing as how the season of giving is here I thought this was the perfect topic lel. We all love presents right? I'm sure we do. Doesn't matter what we get we're always happy to receive gifts. I mean I can't remember the last time I denied or rejected a gift. But what about giving?

Now with all the religious part aside, why should we give? You know I'm sure at some point in our lives we have been on the receiving end of someone else's generosity. What goes around comes around ya feel? Instead of being on the receiving end why not be on the giving end for once. It doesn't matter how big or small the gift is, it's all about the soul and heart. There is no such thing as a bad gift, all gifts are valuable as they come from a person's care and love.

For me I think giving is about joy. It's like when you surprise someone with a nice gesture or gift, the excitement that's on their face... doesn't that fill you with joy? Giving is pleasurable. As cliche as it sounds you get this warm fuzzy feeling inside. It doesn't matter how big or small the gift is, it doesn't matter how much it cost, giving is giving and it's the thought that counts.

Think of it like karma, if you do good you will receive good, if you do bad then you will receive bad. So if you give you will receive, and yeah, you get the idea. Honestly you should give because you can, not because you must. By doing so you will find happiness. It's really good for the soul. The small gesture might just make someone's day! I mean, I have a friend who would be happy for the rest of the day if she received a cup of bubble tea haha.

I'm not saying you have to give anyone anything just because you have to. I'm saying we should give to others out of our own generosity and compassion. Think about it, if you're excited when you receive a gift, I'm sure others would be too. I mean what better way to spend income.

It's almost Christmas, one of the most joyous times of the year. How about making someone's day through a random act of kindness eh? Who knows, that random act of kindness might be returned to you one day when you really need it.

That's enough from me aye hehe

What is family to you? To me family is just one of those things that you can't live without. They're the ones who are always there for you, they have your back and shizzle. They provide us with whatever they can, whether it be in big or small proportions. Basically without them, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Now parenting is one of the most talked about sub-topic when it comes to family and it's always some shit about parents must discipline their child to be a good role model or some crap. In MY opinion, I reckon parenting isn't about discipline or whatever. Sure I guess how you act around and treat your kid is what shapes them into little monsters but for me, I think that parenting is about having undying faith in your child. No matter how grim no matter how dark it may be, I think it is most important to believe in your child and believe that they'll pick themselves up and continue to pursue whatever it is that they're doing.

"But Kha, you're not even a parent! How can you prove this?" Yea that's true. I mean come on, I'm bloody 17. I guess after looking back at how my parents raised me and how I've gotten to this point kinda gave me this idea? Idek hey. You know I always thought that parenting was all about treating your kids right and knowing when to discipline them. As a kid growing up was the most confusing shit ever. My mum, being the CLASSIC stereotypical AZN mother, used to lecture me about grades and shit and how I acted around elder people. On the other hand, my dad was laid back and didn't care much about anything really. He never scolded me he never told me off for anything really. I never really understood the differences between my parents, all I remember was liking my dad more 'cause he was more care free. I never really thought about why my Mum was protective of me until now.

This is kind of just like, something that I want later on but for me I want to have my own family ya feel? I want to be able to have kids and see them grow up, give them the best of everything I can afford. I want to have the satisfaction of seeing my child take his/her first steps. I want the satisfaction of teaching my child how to like, ride their bike and stuffs. It's these small things that make life so enjoyable. I remember the time when my dad taught me how to ride a bike. I didn't really look back, but man I could only imagine what he was feeling. Joy, happiness, proud...

To me friends and family are the most important thing. I find them the most valuable to me. No matter what I'd do whatever to please my friends and family.  I think it may be because of my upbringing aye idek. I look back everyday and I realize how much my family and friends have done for me, I think that it's only fair that I give something back no? That's probably why they're the most valuable to me. Iunno that's just me aye. What about you? You know what they say:

And you know what that means right? "Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten"

That's enough from me aye.

School
Friday, 14 November 2014 | 08:39 | 0 comments
You know I never thought this day would ever come. I mean yea sure I have another 5 exams or so but you know graduation is just around the corner. It seemed so distant, it seemed so far. I think it was because I never really thought about it much. Man the years have flown past...

I think we can all recall our first day at school, kindergarten and prep or whatever. I mean I sure do. I remember being this tiny Asian kid who nobody knew. My parents moved around a fair bit when I was younger so I didn't really stay at a school long enough to have FRIENDS. I don't even know aye, but the years went by so quickly! Heck 12 years and I'm still known as that Asian kid. I mean I had my fair share of bullying, social drama, emotional dramas, my ups and downs. But you know what? If I were able to redo my 12 years of schooling again and meet the same people, I sure would take the opportunity. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty glad that everything is almost over, but I'm sure going to miss school...

I think we take school for granted sometimes. Sure we're bombarded with exams, assignments and homework, but if you think about it, everything is done for our own good, our own future. I'm 100 percent sure that at some point we've all gone "fuck this I'm so done with school", however we stuck to it all the way 'till the end. I mean I sure have, several times actually. But the question is why and how? Well that is simple. We stuck 'till the very end to turn our dreams into reality. As for how... motivation. I'm sure most of us found motivation to go to school everyday to meet our closest friends, girlfriends, boyfriends and teachers and what not. I mean that was my motivation to get up and go to school everyday. But you know since this is about to come to and end for me, idek aye...

You know I thank God everyday for giving me the opportunity to meet the people I call my friends. I mean in no way can I call myself academically smart in comparison to my friends, or as physically attractive in comparison to them, but you know what? that doesn't bother them. Because I am who I am right? and they accept me for who I am. I've never met a group of people who have been as accepting as they are. I've never met a bunch of people who have made me laugh as much, smiled as much and loved as much.

QA has opened up heaps of opportunities for me. I was able to meet this fully sick Korean guy who looks intimidating as beep but is actually just this shy, modest piece of poop. HECK HE WAS MY FIRST FRIEND AT QA HAHAHA. I was also able to meet this amazing Viet girl. Although she gives me shit almost every day, eh she aight haha. We've had our ups and downs, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. I hope as the 'fulleh siq friends' we are we can still keep in touch after we graduate.

Guilt
Sunday, 13 July 2014 | 04:02 | 0 comments
Guilt. What is guilt? Why do we feel guilt? This emotion, this feeling, it occurs when we realize or believe that we have violated our morals and our code of conduct. This warning sign that we develop through our upbringing helps us construct our behavior and it not only affects ourselves but others as well.

Realizing what we have said or done is usually the first stage before the feeling of guilt kicks in. When we start to feel guilty over our actions or words, the emotion, it hits like a truck. The uneasiness we feel until we go and make amends, creates an internal pain that can hurt as much or even more than any physical injury. It's a pretty horrible process. However, the realization of our violation shows maturity and personal growth. We were designed to fuck up. We make mistakes, but you know what? We learn from those mistakes, it's what makes us human. Learning is something we will experience until the day we return to the soil.

Accept that you fucked up. If you did something that was hurtful, accept it and move o
n. What has been done is done, there is no changing the past. But make amends when possible. Find the right time and place for it. Make amends sooner rather than later. I'm sure the person you hurt is forgiving, by apologizing to them it signifies that you have accepted what you have done is wrong and that you're willing to change. Also guilt is timely, meaning that we get into a situation where we do something, and then we feel bad about it for a period of time. Eventually, as time passes we'll feel less guilty. If we recognize our behavior and take actions sooner rather than later, we'll feel better about things. Don't obsess about it too much and not take any compensatory actions. It will just make you feel worse, trusterino in me.

Nobody is perfect, even our friends and family who seem to lead the ideal life. It's what makes us human. Don't live life striving for perfection in any aspect as this results in failure. It can never be attained trusterino in me. We all make mistakes, many of them can make us feel guilty when we realize the mistake we have made. Realizing that you're only human and you made the mistake is the key. Don't be one of those people who blame themselves for days, weeks or even months. It lowers your self-esteem. Don't say that you should have known or should have acted differently. If you realize that you're wrong that means that you shouldn't have known and you shouldn't have acted differently. It's one of those pathways that makes you learn. Trust me you're not an ideal person. You're not, and neither am I. That's just life bruhs.

Guilt is one of those emotions that tells us that something important. However not every guilty feeling is rational and has a purpose. Focus on the guilt that causes loved ones harm. Just accept the fact that you messed up and make amends. Perfection is impossible. You're only human, you're no better than I am. Enougherino from me hey, I just felt like blogging today. I actually don't know if anything up there even makes sense. There's probably a million grammar mistakes that I've overlooked as well. Anyways...

Love
Thursday, 13 February 2014 | 05:32 | 0 comments
Now love is a very controversial topic. I mean for example at the moment I like someone and I can't even confess because I'm a flippin' pussy. Anyways I mean... It doesn't matter if you're straight, bisexual or gay, love is love and when your love for that certain someone is strong enough, it will never prevail.

Now what is love? (baby don't hurt me...) Love is like.... when a puppy licks your face, even after you leave him at home alone all day. You don't give up on the things you love, you stay strong. True there might be some rough times, but by going through these rough times you become a stronger couple. It makes sense doesn't it? When you go through rough times it's generally cause you make mistakes, and because we're mature enough we learn from those mistakes and we avoid them.

Love should also be genuine. Like don't go around loving people because they have money or cause they look sexier than a mug. Love someone for who they are. Love them for their imperfections, it's what makes them so unique. How heart broken would the person be if they found out you loved them for their money? Come on broskies think about their emotions as well. It's like asking someone to formal, don't ask someone just for the sake of going with someone. Ask them because you genuinely want to go with them. It's true that we must think highly of ourselves, but that doesn't mean the world revolves around just ourselves. Be confident, not cocky.

The most important thing is learning to let the things you love go. If you truly love someone then you want to see them happy. You want to see the strive you want to see them succeed. If they don't like you back then don't be disheartened. Sure it hurts... like a bitch. But that doesn't mean you won't meet another person just as amazing as they were. Look at it this way, let's say you loved this flower. Now because you love this flower so much you don't pick it up. Why? Because if you pick up it eventually dies and what you loved ceases to exist. So if you truly loved that flower, you would let it be. Love is not about possession, it's about appreciation.

It's funny cause I'm too scared to even ask the person I like to formal.... Anyways I guess what I'm trying to say here is stay true when it comes to love. Love the person for who they are, appreciate them and if they want to go their separate ways then don't hold them back. Let them strive and be happy. Who knows? They might find themselves feeling happy when they're with you. That's enough from me...

Friend Zone
Wednesday, 1 January 2014 | 18:24 | 0 comments
*Idek what this is... I guess it can be applied to both genders.*

I think everyone can relate to this. I'm sure that most people have been in this situation at least once or twice and it doesn't really matter what gender you are because it happens to everyone. That said this is still more directed to you ladies cause damn! You make it hard for us guys and let me explain why.

Now I've never really figured out some of you girls because your actions, kind of get misinterpreted by some of us guys. I've had people come up to me go "omg I like this girl, here are some signs that she might like me but IDEK WHAT TO DO MAN XDDD >.< *insert more emoticons here*" I can't speak for every guy out there but we tend to over think things. We try to play it down so it's like no, this girl doesn't like me, but all these hints so it's obvious that she might like me. So you know we think we've got a chance and we go confess! We crazy yo.

I know, it sucks, I've been there. I take that back, I don't know what you're all talking about, I've never been in the friend zone. Anyways, now it is maximum security code red  friend zone lock down when your crush says "omagah you are like, such a brother to me." MAXIMUM SECURITY CODE RED!. Now if I'm not mistaken it's virtually impossible to get out of the friend zone. For every 10 people that end up there only 1 is able to escape that dark and satanic place. But who knows you could be that 1.

Moral of the story, don't let those signs trick you, and if you're already in the friend zone then distance yourself from that person. Get your life straight and go hit the gym. Come back with that chiseled body and approach them with confidence. Now, even then that might not even change a dam thing cause maybe your crush is only into Asian dudes, and you're not Asian. Anyways that's enough from me.

Haters
Wednesday, 20 November 2013 | 03:56 | 0 comments
*Yet another blog about morals... don't even know if it makes sense lul*

Everyone has haters, it's something that you can't avoid. I mean getting people to like you is by far much hard than getting people to hate you. You could always try minimizing your haters, but never avoid obtaining them.

Now what I don't understand is why are some people so conscious about their haters? Why care? Why even bother batting an eye about them? Like seriously you should be caring about the people who like you not the people who hate you. Why bother? It's such a waste of time seriously, whilst you're in the process of gaining more people who like you or pleasing the people that like you, you WILL obtain haters it's natural. I don't think there's a way to avoid haters ever. It's how society works, people are always going to judge you for what you look like, what you do, what you say, what you eat, just general day to day crap that you do. At the end of the day you're just going to have to get over it and move on.

Seriously don't waste your time dwelling on your haters. It's not going to do you any good. Either way no matter how hard you try they will always hate you. Why? Because generally, people hate because they're jealous or insecure about themselves. I guess it's to make them feel better? There are times where people are hated for the right reasons, where as others make no sense. Like why hate on someone because they're aesthetically better than you. Or why hate on someone because they're academically smarter than you. Just accept the fact that they're better than you in that area. You can't be the best at everything. There's probably a 10 year old somewhere out there that writes better blogs then I do.

If the world is a fish bowl of people, apart from the people who love and adore you, you shall meet many people who dislike or hate you. It's society it's how everything works. Think about it this way, you win some you lose some. Be the better person here, don't hate on anyone for anything. Just accept and appreciate that they're able to perform well in that area. Think about it like this be thankful that you're even able to perform in that area. Like they say, don't hate, appreciate. Enough from me.

*Okay well... this blog is more about morals and less on the deep stuff I guess. So sorry for those who*
*were looking forward to something deep and meaningful*

Now this, THIS is an extremely controversial topic. Now being the Asian that I am I too have received my fair share of racism. Sure there are times where you and your friends will joke around and crack jokes about each others race and shit like that. But what I'm talking about here is the racism that comes from people who have some kind of grudge against other races.

Now I'd just like to point something out here. Racism is actually against the law. Although I haven't actually seen any legal action against racism it is in fact against the law. Also I don't see the need to discriminate other races. I can guarantee you that everyone has their own flaws. You can never argue that your race is superior than another, whether you be Asian, Black, White, Purple, or whatever colour you are. You can also never argue that you're not a racist person either. Everyone is slightly racist, for example when you look at someone the first thing you'll notice their skin tone, and from there on you'll act accordingly until you know that person. It's really subtle shit and honestly you'll never notice it yourself until you reflect on your actions OR have someone tell you.

From the experience that I've had I can tell you it's not really pleasant. I mean jokes that come from friends yea that's understandable, as from randoms who think they're better than everyone else, fuck you. Seriously I cannot stress how much of an impact has on a person's life. Like that shit hurts man. Think about it like this what one day, out of no where, I decided to come up to you and start discriminating you, discriminating your beliefs, discriminating what you look like, discriminating your race. Not pleasant is it?

Also although you may not think it, stereotype is also a form of racism. Now most stereotypes isn't actually that bad, to be honest they're quite funny and it actually makes a race distinct and different from the others. I guess the issue here is that when a stereotype get's out of hand everything starts to pressure the person. For example the generalization that all Asians are reincarnations of Albert Einstein. Man I'm not going to lie there are heaps of dumb Asians out there, take me for example, I'm retarded as fuck. But when expectations come in, there's a lot of pressure...

No race is superior than another. Think about it this way, without us Asians, who's there going to be to create your goods? Just because you designed the product doesn't mean you manufacture that shit. Without the Negros who's going to throw down sick beats? Seriously embrace different cultures, learn and respect them, it's actually quite interesting to see different cultures. Also race shouldn't matter or effect how you treat people, everyone is equal and should be treated equally. We all have feelings, I'd imagine that you wouldn't be feeling too great if someone went and offended you so don't go around offending others. You know what I'm going to challenge you all to go out and make someone that ISN'T from your race happy, become friends with them, talk to them spend the day with them. Anyways that's enough from me.

Depression
Sunday, 17 November 2013 | 23:48 | 4 comments
Now being a teenager myself I have seen many people go through the phases of depression. Now looking back at that shit I realize that yes, when it first hits you you're kinda like woah. That shit hurts, but why sit and dwell on it?

Now when I was in my early stages of High school I never really went through that anxty stage. Actually if i remember correctly not many people did go through that anxty stage really. I mean yea I had my fair share of bullying, which really was a downer but yea... I guess the biggest common issue in High School is family problems. I know it's hard, and I know it's scary cause trust me I've been in the same situation where my parents have argued and stopped talking for several weeks. But think about it this way, you're a family, you're BOUND to have problems. In the end you and your mum, or you and your dad or both your parents will eventually make amends and figure everything out.

Now I guess another issue would be love, trust and crap. Now for you guys out there don't use Valentines day to treat your girlfriend as a Princess, you should be doing that everyday. Now what is love? How do you measure love? Is it how much stuff that guy or girl bought you? Think about that shit. No, love is passionate affection toward someone else. Yes, I know you might feel like that one kid that feels like they're the only one who wasn't invited to the party because couples are dropping out of the skies! (Don't worry I feel youu bro). Here's something I want to throw out, if you don't trust them, then why are you with them? If you're checking their emails or Facebook, you probably don't trust them. If you're checking their phone, you probably don't trust them. Seriously love is all about trust, commitment and affection. You can't just go around with fear that they'll do something stupid. And if you do end up breaking up with your partner don't sit and dwell on it. Think about it this way life moves forward. Eventually overtime you'll find the perfect girl/guy. Don't think that it's over, it's the end of the world no. Being single is pretty awesome it has some perks of its own. So don't be so bummed over the fact that you just broke up with your girl/guy, or don't be so bummed over the fact that you were never in a relationship at all.

It has also come to my attention that many students are EXTREMELY depressed about their grades. Especially at my school. See I've been in that situation too many times to even care anymore. Like I said before, maybe you're not smart in that certain area but you're smarter in another. As long as you're putting in 110% effort. Remember you can only improve not get worse. Overtime you'll just get better and better. Not everyone is born an Academic genius. It just takes practice, patience, commitment and persistence to improve. Just don't worry about your grades and just do your subjects to the best of your abilities. Also I think one of the big issues is parents and expectations. Most parents are going to tell you that you're pretty much going to have no future if you don't live up to their expectations and that's not entirely true. I mean you'll always be able to find a job and if you want you could always do a bridging course in Uni to get unit the course that you want. it's not the end of the world.

Think of it like this, no matter how dark, now matter how big of a hole you've dug yourself there is always a way out. Whether it be family related, love related or school related, it just takes time, persistence and commitment. Eventually everything should work out and if it doesn't then don't worry, what's done is done it's over. Don't dwell on the past. It's better to have loved than to have never loved at all. Also the darker it is on one side the brighter it will be on the other no? Anyways that's enough from me.

God
Thursday, 14 November 2013 | 18:25 | 5 comments
Now I have friends who are Atheist, Buddhist, Muslim, generally people who all have different beliefs and religions. So it’s pretty evident that I have nothing against any other religion, but that’s not the point here. I mean at some point I’m pretty sure that it has occurred to you, or someone has asked you, whether or not God exists.

Now when I was much younger I would wake up early in the morning to attend Sunday school. I don’t think at that time I really understood what Sunday school was for so half the time I was there I just fucked around. At that age I’m sure most children are extremely curious and if I remember correctly at one point I asked one of the sisters “how do we know god exists?” “Because he created us.” Now that answer really bugged me because A: it didn't really answer my question I mean how do we know he created us and B: all the other sisters would pretty much give me the same answer.

Now I know that there are going to be people out there who are going to be like “where’s your evidence that God exists?” Now since I’m fairly older now and actually have the capacity to think, there is actually SOME evidence that God exists. Hrmm and example okay let’s say the device that you’re using to read this blog. I’m sure that it’s safe to assume that somewhere along the lines of the device’s production there was some human interaction. Maybe now they’re being massed produced by machines but the original device had to be planned, designed and built by a human. It’s also safe to assume that the person who created the device is smart, rich and probably has a lot of free time. But that’s not the point here the point is that there is evidence that the device you’re using WAS created by someone.

Another example let’s look at ourselves for a moment let’s look at me. I am living evidence that somewhere at some point, when my parents loved each other very much, they decided to have smoochy smooch and they created ME! See you are living evidence that your parents created you. Whether you be an accident or not, test tube baby or not, you are living evidence that someone created you (I’m going to assume that everyone knows how the reproductive system works).

I’m pretty sure that it’s obvious which side I’m on here. I mean if you look at the universe like in my point of view everything starts to piece together. Somewhere somehow someone created it. Just because you don’t see doesn't mean you can’t believe. I mean just because you don’t see the sun at night doesn't mean you stop believing that it exists am I right? Anyways that’s enough from me.

Not trying to be rude, but if you want to use the 'creator' debate, then you have to think about who 'created' God. Your thoughts?

I don't like how some people think "I don't know how this happened, it must have been a supernatural force". Seeing as you do go to a science based school, you know that we don't just stop looking for answers and rely on a supernatural/improbable reason which has little evidence (meaning there is 'some').

Not trying to start a rage/flame argument >.< just some small talk would be nice ^o^

On another note, blog music is good (y)

No no this is good ahaha. See when I asked one of the sisters "who created God" I pretty much got the same answer... "God created God." It's kind of redundant but you know... That didn't sit well with me like... the answer is too simplistic I mean how do you argue with that... you really can't. I mean I was in primary school and back in those days so I pretty much thought "well she's a teacher and so she probably knows 10x more that I do." But it still bugged the crap out of me. There's an theory that states that the human brain is too limited to even understand the capacity of a God. Iunno, but using my logic I guess somehow you can conclude that God was created by something. Iunno how to explain it man.

(Jumbled thoughts incoming with a lot of holes (but it makes a lot of sense to me! >.<).) From what I know, God is spirit, and spirit has no beginning or end. Spirit is from eternal to eternal, not beginning to end. For something to have a beginning, it must have had a cause. Since God has no beginning it means he has no cause, however since we have had a beginning we have a cause and that cause is to serve Him :>

This first part is targeted at the other Anonymous, "There's an theory that states that the human brain is too limited to even understand the capacity of a God." (K. Nguyen, 2013) Then how does your logic make sense? if we apparently do not have the capacity to understand God? Hahaha idek...

"we have a cause and that cause is to serve Him", even if he is evil? (Okay evil is a bad word... can't think of the word... [a little less than evil]. When you look around, do you not just think "it's nature"? For example, when you see all the natural disasters, is a supernatural force 'causing' this (evil)? is a supernatural force watching this but not doing anything about it (evil)? Or is it just nature?

hmm... maybe ill do a signature type thing so Anons don't get confused...

Beauty
Wednesday, 13 November 2013 | 20:24 | 0 comments
Now after some discussion with a friend I think it’s appropriate to highlight the connotations of the word ‘beauty’. Like seriously I can’t stress how much of an impact this word has in our so called advanced society. Now I’d say roughly around 7/10 people would associate the word beauty with appearance. Now yes, true that beauty is linked with appearance but it also relates to personality as well.

Think about it like this, I can guarantee you that no matter how smokin’ hot a guy or girl could be you would not want to know them if you knew that their personality is shit. Why would you want to know someone that treats everyone like trash? It wouthld make sense wouldn't it? Avoiding the ones who treat you like shit. Become friends with the person who treats you right, the one who will listen to you, not the one that will put you down and kick you around.

Like I've discussed before in one of my previous posts, inner beauty is what is most important here. Inner beauty is what makes everyone so unique, it’s what makes you YOU! Everyone is different and there’s no doubt there. Flaunt your uniqueness flaunt your style. Don’t let anyone tell that you can’t, remember they're not your parents (unless they are your parents then maybe just maybe you should probably listen to them lol). Everyone is beautiful in their own way, for example you could have a beautiful voice.

Don’t let anyone put you down just because you’re aesthetically unappealing either. Man fuck them, people who put others down because of others appearances have no morals. Just because YOU think that you look good doesn't mean others do as well.  Don’t think that you’re the Miranda Kerr or the Taylor Lautner of our time. Others think you look like an idiot but they don’t say anything. So don’t go putting people down. They were born that way, it’s not like they choose to look like that. But they’re brave enough to go out and flaunt their other beauties. Flaunt their beautiful aspects that makes them who they are.

Seriously I can’t stress how narrow minded society is. Beauty isn't just about appearance but also about a person’s special traits man. Everyone is beautiful, just in their own different way. Don’t just limit the word ‘beauty’ to appearance, don’t put people down just because you think they’re ugly because hey, there’s going to be someone out there that thinks YOU are ugly. So keep it real guys, be yourself, flaunt your own uniqueness and everyone, every single individual is beautiful. Anyways that’s enough from me.

Dreams
| 00:45 | 0 comments
Before we start I'd like to apologize for not posting in the past couple of days. I've been revising for my final Maths exams which are all over now so yolo.

Anyways onto topic dreams, dreams are an important aspect in life. Whether your dreams are for evil and malicious deeds or just dreaming that one day you'll become the Bruce Wayne of our time. Either way it is important to have dreams.

I think that without dreams, there would be nothing to look forward to. For example, lets say that you didn't have a dream of becoming anything at all. You wouldn't have anything to work for, anything to work towards. It’s almost like you’re living for nothing, you have no purpose. Without dreams I guarantee you that you would not be where you are now without your dreams.

Another example, I guess let’s say your dream was to be with this amazing girl/guy that you've liked for a while. You would do ANYTHING to be with that person, whether they accept you or not. At times it feels as if it’s never going to happen but you keep trying because it’s your dream. So you would try to impress them, help them or do anything just simply to see them smile. Anything to see them smile. Trust me I know…

One of the strongest examples I can think of is Martin Luther King’s ‘I have a dream’ speech. His dream was that one day every race could live alongside each other and able to stand together as brothers and sisters. Look at us now, look at the multicultural countries that exist now, America and my home country Australia.

I guess in a nutshell what I’m trying to say here is that everyone needs to have dreams. There is without out a doubt that everyone has dreams, and if you argue that you don’t then think of one, what do you want to work for? What do you want to achieve or what is it that you mostly want? Dreams give you something to look forward too or something to work for. Dreams are also what creates you, what makes you so unique. Everyone has different dreams and like I said, without your dreams you would not be where you are today. Also dreams ignite creativity for new ideas. Who knows? Someday you could be the one who creates the first Arc Reactor.

Anyways that’s enough from me, keep dreaming and work towards that dream. Keep it real and keep it unique guys. Love you all.
