To the future!

How gangster would it have been if time travel had already been invented? Like actually I wouldn't mind knowing where I would be in like say 10 years time or so. But since time travel hasn't been invented I've set myself some little goals you feel? It's always good to think about the future. I mean although I prefer to live in the present, I still think it's good to have plan or something to look forward to you feel? Something to aim for, something we can dream about or something we can work towards.I mean, our future is something we must shape right? Now I know this is not the greatest example but it's probably because I'm playing with some right now (kid at heart), but the future is like play dough. We're holding onto a ball of play dough. Now when you leave it there, it's just a plain lump of play dough. So what do you do? You mold it and play with it obviously... You bend it, you stretch it, you flatten it you do all sorts of things. Now once you have the desired shape you start adding more play dough to your masterpiece. Except this time, the play dough you add is an assortment of colours. You have your reds, your blues, your greens and your yellows. I guess the colours represent our ups and days, our friends and our family. We may start of with only a small amount off play dough but the more we add onto it and shape it the greater the sculpture becomes. So I guess it's like it's not what you have in life, but what you do with life. That shapes the future and that shapes who you are.
You know now that I look back there should have been many things I should have planned for earlier prior to whatever the date was. Like seriously I think the worst feeling ever is coming to something, doing something or whenever something happens and then realizing that you were unprepared. Now for some people it may seem like the end of the world. Like life is over ya feel? But like, that's only one event. You learn from your tardiness and you make sure that you're prepared for the future. Think of it like this, lets say you love to read. When you finish one book what do you do? You pick up another one amirite? So when one story closes, another begins!
I asked one of my friends how he saw the future and he said to me "the future is like a flying arrow" which I can't help but to strongly agree. As life draws back the arrow, you aim it in the direction you want it to go and you release. Now the moment you release it obviously the arrow is going to be effected by wind resistance and drag and gravity and all that physics stuff. I guess that's just all the hardships you're going to have to go through. But eventually that arrow is going to land, and after going through all those hardships it's going to land into something great.
So I guess we should always look to the future as a new book aye? Something we should be looking forward too. It's something we should be excited for, but not let get in our way of living in the present ya feel? And make do with what you got you know? I feel like this may have been one of the shittier posts but you know, yolo right? Also I have recently just made a Facebook page for those who follow or want to follow my blog. It will be easier for me to notify you when I update ya feel? A link will be provided below. Anyways that's enough from me. As always:
